Trapping
Traps are a hunters best friend, traps make things alot easier to do. Whether out and about killing a few mobs and then realizing that you now have more then you can handle or in an instance/raid and you are doing your thing with crowd control or if one of those meanies from another faction comes up behind you and you have to make a quick get away. You will find a reason to drop a trap for something sooner or later. Freezing trap is the most used trap that I have. It will freeze a mob for about 30 seconds preventing them from attacking. The one I use to inflict a little extra damage is either the snake trap or explosive trap. In a raid/instance it doesn't take much to run by a target and drop it on your way by. If you want to take out a few mobs at once your best bet it to use frost trap with some help with volley, slow them suckers down and drop a volley, by the time they get to you another volley will put those mobs on their asses. For those that are alittle more experienced with trapping you can go for the double trapping. All that needs to be done to pull this off is some timing, which will come with experience. Drop one trap and allow for some time to pass, then pull, by the time the first trap has been triggered your cooldown should be done and you can drop a second trap for another mob running at you. That should give you some time to take care of any other mobs that are following the first two.
